On the night of September 6th to 7th, Russia launched 805 Shahed strike drones and various types of decoy drones against Ukraine.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that this was the largest attack since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
The enemy also used 9 Iskander-K cruise missiles and 4 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces managed to shoot down 747 enemy Shahed-type drones and various types of decoy drones, as well as four cruise missiles from the Iskander-K system.
There were confirmed hits by 9 missiles and 56 strike drones at 37 locations, with debris from the downed drones falling at 8 locations.
The cities of Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa, Sumy, Kryvyi Rih, Dnipro, Kremenchuk, Zhytomyr, and Starokostyantyniv came under fire.
“Yes, for the first time, the Government Building was damaged by the enemy attack – the roof and upper floors. Rescuers are extinguishing the fire. Thank you for their work,” the Prime Minister of Ukraine wrote, also listing the cities that were targeted during the night.
Previously, the largest drone attack by Russia took place on the night of July 9 this year. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the occupiers attacked Ukraine with 741 aerial attack drones at that time.
Of these, 728 were Shahed-type strike drones and various types of decoy drones launched from the directions of Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk, Orel, and Millerovo (approximately 300 of them were attack drones).
The main target of that Russian night attack was Lutsk.
