Russia announced the deployment of its newest Т-14 Armata tanks in Ukraine.
Russian propaganda media reported this on Tuesday.
It is now known that these tanks are in trial operation in the Russian army.
According to the statements of the aggressor state’s propaganda, Т-14 tanks are allegedly already on the front of the Russian-Ukrainian full-scale war.
Sources of the Russian RIA Novosti propaganda media claim that Т-14 Armata tanks are used to attack Ukrainian positions. However, the invaders claim that they have not yet participated in assault operations.
It is alleged that the allegedly sent to the front Russian Armatas were equipped with additional protection from anti-tank weapons.
Last year, the plan to use Russian Т-14 tanks in the war against Ukraine was reported.
At that time, Russian propagandists published photos and videos from the place of combat coordination of the aggressor state’s tank crews.
The exact number of tanks that the invaders could prepare to be deployed to the war zone is unknown.
The Russian promising Т-14 tank on the Armata platform is armed with a 2А82-1М 125mm smoothbore gun, which is capable of using various types of tank ammunition.
One of the tank’s features is that its crew is located in the armored compartment, and the turret is remotely controlled. The MBT is equipped with the Afganit active protection system to counter enemy missiles and projectiles.
The tank received an automatic transmission, active suspension, and an А-85-3А engine with a power of 1500 h.p.
