After several explosions aimed at carrying out a terrorist attack and apprehension of the perpetrators, Russia began to blow up its agents on the spot. The latest of these occurred on February 14 in Mykolaiv.

This incident was reported on the official Telegram channel of the Mykolaiv police.

The explosion near a catering establishment killed two people.

Among the dead was a civilian who brought the bag that subsequently exploded to the parking lot where civilians and soldiers were standing, one of whom was also killed. Eight other people were injured.

The incident is being investigated under Part 3 of Article 258 “Terrorist Act”.

“Counterintelligence and operational measures are being taken, investigative actions are underway to establish all the circumstances of the crime,” Yana Konopelko, a spokeswoman for the SSU Office in the Mykolaiv region, told Suspilne.

According to Korabelov.info, the deceased, a native of the Poltava region from the city of Horishni Plavni, did not live in Mykolaiv, but arrived here the day before and stayed in a hostel.

According to their information, the explosive device was in the woman’s bag. It is assumed that she had been a suicide bomber, but the version that she could have been exploited covertly was also being considered. In particular, there is evidence that the explosion occurred after a phone call, which may indicate a remote detonation.

This is not the first such explosion. On February 5 a similar one occurred near the building of the district territorial center for recruitment and social support. One person was killed and four people were injured.

According to the information published by Suspilne Khmelnytskyi, the man who died on the spot had previously committed an explosion near the building of the Kamianets-Podilskyi territorial center for recruitment and social support.

The mayor of Kamianets-Podilskyi said that the explosion had occurred on the territory of the shopping center and joint venture, where the military medical commission had been working.

During the telethon, he said that the deceased had been a person who had been handing things to a military officer of the TCR and SS, after which the explosion had occurred.

According to Interfax-Ukraine, during a briefing in Kyiv, the head of the National Police, Ivan Vyhivskyi, spoke about the deceased near the building of the Kamianets-Podilskyi district TCR and SS:

“A person approached the checkpoint of the territorial center for recruitment and social support with a bag in his hands. They asked to pass on a parcel and at the same moment there was an explosion.”

On February 1, an explosion occurred in Rivne. Later it became known that the explosion had killed one person and injured six others.

On February 5, the SSU press service reported that Russia had staged a terrorist attack in the Rivne Regional Shopping Center on February 1 that year, having used a “blind” recruited agent. The man was deliberately blown up along with the explosives he had brought inside the building.

According to the case file, the terrorist was a 21-year-old unemployed man from the Zhytomyr region who was looking for quick money on telegram channels.
