Strike drones hit the Rosneft oil depot in Bryansk.
Russian media resource Astra reported on this.
The object attacked by the drones was the Rosneft oil depot, which houses 25 tanks with oil products.
In turn, the official report of the local authorities states that the attack resulted in a fire at the production facility.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reports intercepting 14 drones over the Bryansk region, which were successfully destroyed. The fire at the oil depot was probably caused by falling debris from the downed drones.
According to information from the Ukrainian geo-intelligence project Cyberboroshno, the location of the fire at the oil depot was geolocated at 53.208897, 34.462425.
Having geolocated the site, we were also able to pinpoint the object that was hit, located at coordinates 53.225356, 34.457308.
Bryansk region borders Ukraine, and the city itself is located more than 100 kilometers from the border.
It should be noted that according to satellite images from Google Maps, the oil depot had already been attacked before, as evidenced by the burnt tank.
A massive fire broke out at this particular oil depot on April 25, 2022, and according to local residents, two large explosions were recorded before the fire.
Militarnyi previously reported that on the night of November 29, a fire broke out at the Atlas plant in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation after an attack by attack drones.
The Atlas plant specializes in the storage and supply of petroleum products, including to the Russian military. The facility is located more than a hundred kilometers from the front line.
