The Czech company RETIA, part of the Czechoslovak Group, has introduced the ReCAS anti-drone system, designed to protect strategic facilities from UAVs.

According to a Militarnyi correspondent at the World Defense Show 2026 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the system offers a modular solution that covers the full counter-drone cycle: detection, decision-making, and neutralization. It is aimed at safeguarding critical infrastructure, military sites, and venues hosting large public events.

ReCAS System Components

The system is built around a multi-layered sensor suite capable of reliably detecting even small and slow-moving drones.

Key among these is the ReGUARD active 3D radar with a phased-array antenna, which can track targets in challenging terrain conditions.

Additional accuracy is provided by the passive ReSCAN radio‑frequency direction finder, which detects drone control and video‑link signals while remaining undetectable to the adversary.

For visual confirmation and target classification, the ReCAS system integrates the ReCAM suite, featuring high‑performance daytime and nighttime cameras.

The central control element is ReCUBE, the command‑and‑control center. It provides an intuitive operational picture and automated threat assessment.

ReCUBE is a scalable system, allowing deployment at a single site or as a networked solution for protecting large areas.

To neutralize threats, ReCAS offers “soft‑kill” countermeasures under the ReJAM designation. This system includes omnidirectional and directional jammers designed to suppress control signals, video transmission, and satellite navigation (GNSS).

Operators can choose between wide‑area protection or precision engagement against a drone at long distances.

In cases where electronic warfare measures are insufficient, a “hard‑kill” option is available in the form of the ReMIKAZE interceptor drone. It can neutralize targets through direct collision, the use of a net, or detonation of a warhead.
