In the Donetsk region, border guards destroyed a rare piece of Russian equipment – a mobile reconnaissance and control center PPRU-1 Ovod-M-SV.

The strike was carried out by an FPV drone pilot with the call sign ‘Voyage’ from the Phoenix unit.

The border guard was flying a route deep behind enemy lines. He noticed the movement of the occupiers, set a course for the target and destroyed it with a precise strike.

The PPRU-1 Ovod-M-SV is a Soviet and Russian mobile reconnaissance and control station for tactical air defense units. It was developed in 1978 on the basis of the Soviet MT-LBU armored personnel carrier.

The complex is designed to control the fire of army air defense systems, including ZU-23-4 Shilka, 2S6 Tunguska, and Strela-10.
