Future Ukrainian Bogdana wheeled self-propelled howitzer completed preliminary firing trials.

It stated that the Ukrainian 155 mm self-propelled howitzer successfully completed firing trials, during which 450 shots were fired at a range of 42 km.
Trials took place within the defining departmental tests of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Firing trials were held at the Alibei testing ground of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Odessa region.
Gunnery was actively conducted in December and January.
According to the statements of the developer of the future howitzer, the “KZTS” PJSC, the range of the shot with an ordinary shell is up to 40 km.
Now, according to representatives of the company, in practice proven the possibility of shooting at 42 km without the use of a rocket assisted projectile.
In May, the first stage of the company trial at the “Shyrokyne Lane” landfill.
During the tests, 155-mm Turkish and Czech-made shells are used, including extended range shells with improved aerodynamics and the HE ERFB-BV from the Excalibur Army Company.
Recall that in 2020, the Excalibur Army company supplied the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine with new 155 mm ammunition for a full cycle of tests of Bogdana howitzer.
Preliminary firing trials are carried out within the departmental tests and this makes it possible to provide Bogdana for the Armed Forces in 2022.
