Petro Poroshenko handed over a large batch of volunteer aid to the soldiers of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
MP reported this on his Facebook.
The transferred assistance-ATVs, drones, electronic warfare equipment and engineering equipment-is intended for the Defense Forces units performing missions in the Kursk region.
“These soldiers are said to be working in the Sumy sector. However, we are well aware that they are advancing in the neighboring Kursk region. It is possible that they are targeting several other regions of Russia. We can’t comment on their work, but we can continue to help. Because we support the Armed Forces of Ukraine wherever they are,” his post reads.
The military received 12 ATVs for assault troops and evacuation of the wounded, a new excavator, a Foden truck, laundry and shower facilities and buses.
In addition, Poroshenko handed over 1205 FPV drones, 51 daytime and 17 nighttime DJI Mavic drones, and 9 Shatro electronic warfare systems to protect against Russian attack drones.
Shatro 50-1M is an electronic warfare system manufactured by the Ukrainian company Unwave.
It is designed to form a ‘dome’ of radio frequency interference with a radius of 100-250 meters around itself.
According to the manufacturer’s website, the EW system operates in the 900-1000 MHz frequency range and has a channel power of 50 W.
“All this equipment will do its job to advance our troops,” Poroshenko concluded.
Militarnyi reported on July 25 that MP Petro Poroshenko transferred a batch of more than three thousand FPV drones, reconnaissance drones, and dozens of electronic warfare systems to the military.
In addition to the attack drones, the military received 134 Mavic 3 drones, which are used for close air reconnaissance and fire control.
