The Polish military has begun to learn how to use FPV drones and undergo appropriate training for their production and operation.
This was reported by the official Facebook page of the 1st Armored Brigade.
The training was divided into several stages, which should improve the military’s understanding of the operation of this type of drone.
Thus, the servicemen learned how to manufacture FPV drones on their own and repair them. To do this, they used ready-made kits where they soldered the wiring and connected the appropriate sensors and elements.
In addition to the assembly and repair, training was conducted to improve the skills and general training of the soldiers in flying, practicing flight techniques, remote detonation of a warhead over a target, etc.
An attention was also paid to the organizational work of the unit, their coordination, and defensive maneuvers were practiced as part of a simulation of an enemy attempt to intercept the drone.
In addition, the flights were practiced in an environment where the enemy was actively using electronic warfare, which allowed external pilots to improve their intuitive sense of drone control in poor image quality.
It should be noted that, in addition to Poland, active training and preparation of personnel for the use of drones of this type is also being conducted in Taiwan.
Earlier, Militarnyi reported that the Taiwanese Armed Forces had begun to master the use of FPV drones against ground and surface targets.
To date, the Taiwanese Armed Forces have begun massive deployment of FPV drones in the military structure of the Army to ensure an advantage on the future battlefield.
It should be noted that Taiwan is closely monitoring the battlefield in Ukraine, where FPV drones have become one of the most common means of defeating a number of enemy targets. Currently, the military is just beginning to master and train for the new type of weapon, which is planned to be significantly expanded among military units.
Despite this, Taiwan has some problems with the production of such drones, as some components are imported from mainland China.
