The Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed the Russian Murom-P surveillance station in the Kherson region.

The Phoenix 03 Heavy FPV-drone was involved in this operation.

Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine published the video of the Russian equipment being hit.

“The drone destroys Russia’s Murom-P surveillance system. This system allowed the Russians to monitor the territory and movement of our troops 24/7. Now, the so-called “Mordor’s eye” is destroyed,” he wrote.

Fedorov also noted that Phoenix 03 Heavy drones were purchased as part of the Army of Drone campaign.

He added that 100 of these FPV drones were already transferred to the military.

“Soon, the enemy will lose a lot more equipment,” Fedorov added.

Recently, it was reported that 10 thousand drone operators were already trained in Ukraine through the Army of Drones campaign. Over the year, the fundraising platform raised $325 million.

The specifications of the Phoenix 03 Heavy FPV drone are currently unknown. However, one of the Army of Drone project reports has an illustrative image of this drone.

The system can be formed in three versions. In its entirety, the system offers:

  • detection and recognition of objects in a controlled area;
  • transmission of the received information to a remote monitoring post using wireless technology;
  • generation and issuance of alarm notifications;
  • determination and refinement of coordinates of “violators,” tracking the trajectory of their movement, and display of the real-
  • time terrain map with an indication of information about objects.

The system is supplied by the Russian Stilsoft – a developer and manufacturer of integrated security systems, special equipment, and unmanned aerial vehicles.

In March 2023, it was reported that the enemy was deploying these surveillance systems along the entire front line.
