The Polish company Mista has presented a medical version of the Oncilla armored vehicle.
The vehicle was demonstrated at the Defence24 Days exhibition in Warsaw, which was attended by Militarnyi journalists.
The armored medical vehicle is designed to evacuate wounded soldiers quickly and safely.
The vehicle’s interior space is adapted to the needs of medical personnel.
Oncilla-E can carry two medics, two lying or several sitting wounded.
Armored ambulances are able to move along shelled routes where civilian vehicles cannot pass.
The Oncilla meets STANAG 4569 Level 2 standards, which protects the wounded from bullets and shrapnel.
The Oncilla armored combat vehicle is a licensed version of the Ukrainian Dozor-B armored vehicle manufactured by a Polish company.
The first Oncilla armored vehicle was assembled in Ukraine, and later production was launched in Poland.
These vehicles are used by the Armed Forces and the National Guard of Ukraine in the frontlines. In addition, they have also been used by units of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
Thus, it is possible that medical Oncilla-Es will also be supplied to the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
Thanks to engineering solutions, Mista also offers several other modifications of the Oncilla – a command and staff vehicle, a standard reconnaissance vehicle, as well as options for chemical and radiological reconnaissance.
Last year, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine codified and authorized the Oncilla-Shturm armored vehicle for use in the Defense Forces.
