The Omega Wings drone team soldiers destroyed ten artillery systems and a tank in a week.

Over the week, the special forces managed to destroy nine towed howitzers that were being used to strike defense positions.

These systems were well camouflaged, so drones with thermal imaging optics were used to detect them, which helped the fighters successfully detect and destroy them.

One of the artillery systems was the Giatsint-B long-range gun, which has a maximum firing range of up to 28 km with HE-FRAG projectiles.

These guns are relatively rare on the front line, and as a result, their losses since the start of the full-scale invasion have amounted to only 56 units, compared to the Msta-B towed guns, of which the Russians have lost 123 units, and the D-30, of which 140 units were lost.

The list of artillery systems was also supplemented by the Grad multiple rocket launcher, camouflaged in a tree line, which was destroyed by special forces.

These systems are also being used very actively at the front, as evidenced by their losses, which currently amount to 277 systems.

The drones also hit a Russian tank, which was in a defended position at the time of the attack, with munitions.

Militarnyi previously reported that pilots of the 14th Mechanized Brigade destroyed a field ammunition depot and struck the artillery systems of Russian invaders in the Kupiansk sector.

Ukrainian drones attacked the invaders’ positions. The strike hit a mortar, a 122mm D-30 towed howitzer, as well as a machine gun.

In addition, the 14th Mechanized Brigade soldiers discovered and destroyed a field ammunition depot. A fire and detonation started there, which probably led to its complete destruction.
