During the war in Ukraine, an officer of the Russian army, who during Russia’s seizure of Ukrainian Crimea in 2014 betrayed his oath and went over to the side of the invaders, was neutralized.
The Center for Journalistic Investigations shares about the traitor’s death with reference to the Crimean media.
As reported, it is likely that Oleksiy Avramchenko was affected by the fire near the temporarily occupied Kherson and died from blood loss.
He was born on January 20, 1973, and lived in the city of Simferopol in the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea. At one time, he graduated from the Simferopol Higher Military-Political Construction Community College.
Before Russia’s occupation of Ukrainian Crimea, he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. It is noted that after the capture of the peninsula, he did not arrive on the continental territory of Ukraine at the indicated collection points, having joined the military service of the invaders.
Before the betrayal, Avramchenko served in military unit A-1668, the Crimean Territorial Department of the Military Law and Order Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and was the Deputy Commander for educational work.
The media emphasize that during the occupation of Crimea in 2014, it was Avramchenko who became one of those lowering the national flag of Ukraine in the military unit and raised the flag of the Russian Federation there.
After switching to the side of the invaders, he received an “award” from them in the form of the so-called order “for loyalty to duty”.
Avramchenko’s friends report on social media that he was neutralized on July 9.
As previously reported, in March, the 80th Air Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine neutralized an invader unit in the southern direction. The Lviv paratroopers eliminated the squires from the 126th Coastal Defence Brigade of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation.
This military unit is based in the occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea in the village of Perevalne. Before the occupation, it was the point of permanent deployment of the 36th Separate Marine Brigade.
In March 2014, part of the servicemen of the 36th Brigade betrayed their oath to the Ukrainian people and remained in the occupied territory, continuing their service in the Russian army in the 126th Coastal Defence Brigade of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation.
