Today, on February 17, during the shelling, as a result of a direct hit of a shell, the building of the kindergarten was damaged. There were children in the kindergarten at the time of the shelling, the Prolisok Humanitarian Mission reported.

Shelling by the occupiers of the Ukrainian settlement took place around 09:00.

Children were in the kindergarten at the time of the shelling.

According to preliminary information, two teachers received injuries.

According to the head of the village of Stanytsia Luhanska Albert Zinchenko, the shell hit the wall of the kindergarten building, Suspilne reports.

“The watchman, the washerwoman and the assistant teacher received contusions. They were taken to the hospital, people are in a state of shock. There are no wounded and injured children. Because the shell hit the music room, where no lessons were held,” Zinchenko said.

Their parents took all the children who attend the institution.

Currently, the rescue services of Stanytsia Luhanska have left for the scene.

As we reported erlier, at the beginning of February, the Russian occupation forces fired at the checkpoint Hnutove in Donetsk region. The enemy used an unmanned aerial vehicle to fire at the humanitarian road corridor passing through the checkpoint, from which it dropped the HE grenade.

One of the servicemen was saved from injury by a personal metal token, which stopped the grenade shrapnel.
