Syos, which has offices in Ukraine, the United Kingdom and New Zealand, is actively developing the field of unmanned surface vehicles.

Over the past year, it has produced more than 140 drones, some of which were transferred to Ukraine, Naval News reports.

The experience of combat use in Ukraine helped Syos to quickly improve its technology. For example, the SM300 model has a range of 650 nautical miles and a payload of 300 kg, and its cost is about $210,000.

Syos recently conducted a demonstration for the British Navy. Five Rattler maritime drones were remotely controlled from Portsmouth and escorted ships off the coast of Scotland.

The company is also developing a new medium-sized naval drone with a range of up to 2,000 km, which will be suitable for patrolling and protecting maritime borders.

At the Indo-Pacific 2025 exhibition in Sydney, the company showed how to control a maritime drone from the other side of the world – an operator in the audience controlled a device that was in the UK.

In addition to maritime drones, Syos has developed an interceptor to combat the Shahed kamikaze drones used by Russia against Ukraine.
