New Defense Tactic: Ptashka Drones’ Nets Ambush Russian Drones

Ptashka Drones has introduced a solution to counter the invaders’ ‘waiting drones,’ which remain in target standby mode for extended periods.

The developers proposed deploying interceptor drones that release special nets onto the ‘waiting drones.’

This approach helps avoid the loss of ammunition and drones. The main advantage of the method is that the enemy drone remains trapped in the ambush, while its operator wastes time waiting in vain for the target to appear.

When the target appears, the net makes it difficult or impossible for the ‘waiting drone’ to take off – it physically cannot lift off due to the obstruction of its propellers. This neutralization mechanism renders the drone uncontrollable and disables it.

“We are ready to provide free sponsorship of Mavic drone pilots with cartridges containing nets,” Ptashka Drones announced.

The net launcher by Ptashka Drones is a compact and effective system designed to counter enemy UAVs. The device is engineered for quick mounting on various platforms and adaptation to local tactical conditions.

Thanks to special net-based ammunition, the system neutralizes drones by entangling their propellers in the net, rendering the device uncontrollable and disabling it. The manufacturers emphasize the simplicity of use and cost-effectiveness of this countermeasure.
