A Ukrainian drone spotted dozens of bodies of invaders being collected by Russians near the village of Stepove.

The footage from the drone was posted by the military in the Rozvidka noem Telegram group.

“The blood harvest continues in the Avdiivka sector,” the video caption reads.

The footage shows a damaged Russian T-80 tank, which invaders lost at the end of January this year.

Near the tank there are 37 bodies of Russian soldiers who were killed during the storming of Ukrainian positions.

The corpses were laid near the railroad near the village of Stepove, which Russians tried to capture before the military left Avdiivka.

The battle for Stepove was one of the bloodiest battles in the Avdiivka sector. Russians sent infantry and armored vehicles for every day attacks.

Ukrainian troops left the villages of Severne and Stepove, located west of Avdiivka, only in the second half of February.

The troops left Avdiivka and the villages around it to avoid encirclement and retreated to new defense lines.

The bloody battle for Avdiivka lasted four months. In October 2023, Russians launched a large-scale offensive against Avdiivka.

In general, the defense of the city began in 2014, almost 10 years ago, when the city was liberated from Russian invasion forces.
