On the night of September 17, a drone attack was carried out on the Oryol and Moscow regions of the Russian Federation.
Militarnyi reports, citing Russian media and local authorities.
Around 2 a.m., Mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin said that air defense forces had repelled a drone attack over Istra near Moscow. According to him, there were no casualties or damage as a result of the crash.
At 2 a.m., Mash reported that due to the drone attack on the capital of the enemy state, the Carpet Plan was announced at Vnukovo and Sheremetyevo airports.
It is noted that 19 flights were delayed at Domodedovo airport, and 3 were canceled.
Later, at 4 a.m., the mayor announced that a second drone had been shot down over the Ramensky district of Moscow region.
It became known that one of the drones en route to Moscow was shot down over Tula.
The downed drone crashed near the local Logistics Center No. 1 near the Chinese car assembly shop Haval and a branch of the Evraz metallurgical company.
Another drone is known to have attacked the Oryol region of Russia. According to local governor Andrey Klychkov, the drone hit a fuel and lubricant tank around 3:50 a.m. local time.
The damaged facility was located within the city of Oryol. According to Klychkov, there were no casualties after the attack.
Militarnyi previously reported that elements of the S-400 air defense system in Yevpatoria were hit by drones.
In addition, on August 31, the Bryansk region of Russia was reportedly attacked by unidentified unmanned aerial vehicles.
As previously reported, on the night of August 30, Russia faced the largest drone attack ever. Numerous targets in the Moscow, Tula, Pskov, Bryansk regions and Sevastopol city were attacked by drones.
