On the morning of Tuesday, August 26, explosions were heard in temporarily occupied Crimea.

Later, the Krymskyi Veter (Crimean Wind) Telegram channel reported a possible strike on the railway infrastructure of the peninsula, which Russian invaders actively use.

According to a monitoring channel, the Urozhaina railway station in the village of Krasnohvardiiske may have been hit.

Preliminarily, there was a strike on a substation that supplies the railway.

“The hit in the area of the Urozhaina station appears to have been accurate,” the Krymskyi Veter (Crimean Wind) Telegram channel wrote.

As a result of the incident, 13 settlements in the Krasnohvardiiske district of Crimea were left without power.

In the published footage, allegedly from the scene, railway tracks can be seen with thick black smoke rising above them, which may indicate a large-scale fire. It is evident that the smoke is coming from the direction of the railway infrastructure.

Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that between 7:00 and 7:30 a.m., their air defense systems allegedly shot down eight drones over temporarily occupied Crimea.
