Ukrainian donors are supplying the military with Avenger anti-aircraft missile system and IFV mock-ups.
Masters from the Na Chasi (On Time – ed.) charitable organization reported on this.
The task of the military equipment mock-ups is to mislead the enemy and force them to spend as many missiles and ammunition as possible to destroy false targets.
The Foundation presented a wide range of mock-ups made for the military.
Making the BMP-2 mockup turned out to be the most difficult job, requiring many details.
Trench candles are placed in the BMP, which heat the metal parts of the BMP, creating the effect of a working engine.
The Foundation also produces models of HIMARS missile systems, Avenger air defense systems, HMMWV and Oshkosh off-road vehicles, howitzers, and much more.
The Foundation’s mock-ups are made of wood with large-node elements, which allows them to be transported disassembled.
They can be assembled and disassembled multiple times without losing structural reliability and without the use of any tools.
“Our models have a special undercarriage designed and manufactured that allows them to be towed along roads for several kilometers to move them to their positions,” the donors say.
From a distance of several kilometers, from a drone, it is difficult to distinguish the model from real equipment.
In April, the military ordered mock-ups of the American Patriot air defense system from an unnamed Ukrainian model manufacturer.
