2,000 short-range electronic warfare systems were produced through a Brave1 cluster for the Ukrainian military.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine transferred the EW systems to the military.

The General Staff has already distributed and transferred most of the purchased EW systems to the military in the hottest areas of the front.

“The Servant of the People party saved UAH 180 million from annual state funding and sent it through UNITED24 to purchase these EW assets,” Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister of Digital Transformation, reported.

Short-range EW systems, particularly “trench,” pointedly protect the military and their positions, armored vehicles, and evacuation vehicles.

According to the developers, it should jam Russian FPV drones, drop drones, and reconnaissance drones.

“Before the full-scale war, Ukraine did not have any short-range electronic warfare development. Thanks to the systematic work of Brave1, this area has started to develop, and today, there are dozens of technological solutions that the state can purchase for the front,” the Ministry of Digital Transformation said.

Thanks to the systematic work of the Brave1 defense development cluster, the EW market continues to actively develop in Ukraine.

When Brave1 started work in 2023, about 10 EW/SIGINT solutions had been available.

More than 100 developments have now been registered on the platform, and nine of them have already been codified according to NATO standards.

“Technologies and approaches to their use need to be constantly improved. Therefore, the goal of the Brave1 remains the search and support of developers to technologically strengthen the military with innovations on the battlefield,” the Ministry of Digital Transformation said.

Recently, Petro Poroshenko, People’s Deputy of Ukraine, presented the Ai-Petri SV electronic warfare system and handed over the party to the Ukrainian military.
