The name of the developer and manufacturer of the Ukrainian Palyanytsia missile drone has been revealed. It is the Kyiv-based Luch Design Bureau, which also manufactures R-360 Neptune anti-ship missiles.
Andrii Sybiha, Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine (MFA), posted the photo on his social media page.
The head of the MFA reported that he had met with Oleh Korosteliov, director of the Luch Design Bureau, who presented him with a model of the Palianytsia.
The model is similar to the one presented in Poland at the MSPO 2025 international exhibition.
At that time, Militarnyi learned that with a length of 3.5 meters, the wingspan of the drone missile reaches 1.7 meters, and its total weight is 320 kilograms. A third of this weight — 100 kilograms — is accounted for by the warhead.
Palianytsia has a flight range of up to 650 kilometers, which it covers at a transonic speed of 900 km/h. Its flight altitude can vary between 15 and 500 meters.
These parameters are provided by a single-circuit turbojet engine. Takeoff is performed using a solid-fuel rocket accelerator.
It is stated that navigation and final targeting are performed by a combination of an autonomous inertial system, which is immune to electronic warfare, and satellite navigation for correction of deviations.
Luch State Kyiv Design Bureau is a Ukrainian defense industry enterprise founded in 1965 and one of the leading developers of missile and anti-tank weapons.
It is known as the manufacturer of the R-360 Neptune anti-ship missiles and the Stuhna-P anti-tank systems.
Over the years, the company has developed and launched more than 40 types of complex products.
These include control and diagnostic systems for aviation weapons, electric steering drives, high-precision weapon assemblies, and industrial process control systems.
