Militarnyi informs.
Today, Febuary 2, around 08:30 militants carried out an attack of the checkpoint Hnutove in Donetsk region, the press service of the Joint Forces Operation reports.
The enemy used an unmanned aerial vehicle to fire at the humanitarian road corridor passing through the checkpoint, from which it dropped the HE grenade.
As a result of the UAV attack, there are no casualties among the personnel of the the Ukrainian forces.
At the same time, one of the servicemen was saved from injury by a personal metal token, which stopped the grenade shrapnel.
“Such criminal actions of the Russian occupiers once again confirm that the enemy deliberately violates the ceasefire and openly neglects the requirements of International law on the conduct of hostilities,” the report noted.
We remind you that now Ukraine is resolving the issue of transferring evidence of the use of Russian weapons in the Donbas to international courts. International courts should prosecute persons involved in war crimes on the territory of Ukraine.
During the investigative actions of the Security Service of Ukraine, the facts of the supply of weapons and ammunition from Russia to militants in the occupied territory were documented.
Among the seized military means of defeat of Russian production are the RPO-A Shmel (rocket-propelled Infantry Flamethrower-A Bumblebee), the Okhota explosive complex and anti-personnel mines, which are prohibited by the 1997 Ottawa Convention.
In addition, the facts of use by militants against Ukrainian troops in the East of Ukraine, modern Russian weapons, are documented. Among the identified samples is a reusable hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher RPG-32 Barkas.
The seized samples of Russian weapons are attached to the materials of criminal proceedings initiated by the Security Service of Ukraine investigators under Part 1 of Article 258 (terrorist act) and Part 1 of Article 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
