Media: Israeli Mossad Establishes Drone Base Near Tehran

The Israeli intelligence agency Mossad has established a drone base inside Iran.

The Times of Israel reported on this, citing a security official.

The base, located near Tehran, was activated on the night of June 13 to execute strikes on missile installations aimed at Israel.

The media notes that Israel has been preparing for years for an operation against Iran’s nuclear and missile programs, including establishing a drone base inside Iran, importing precision weapons, and deploying intelligence agents within the country.

These efforts relied on close joint planning between the Israel Defense Forces and the Mossad intelligence agency.

According to the official, Mossad agents established a drone base near Iran’s capital, Tehran. It is reported that the drones were activated during the night and struck Iranian ground-to-ground missile launchers, likely ballistic missiles.

Additionally, vehicles carrying weapon systems were smuggled into Iran.

“These systems destroyed Iran’s air defense and gave Israeli aircraft air superiority and freedom of action over Iran,” the publication reported.

Another covert operation involved Mossad personnel deploying precision missiles near air defense facilities in central Iran.

It is noted that these operations relied on “innovative thinking, bold planning, and the operational use of advanced technologies, special units, and agents operating deep within Iran, completely avoiding the attention of local intelligence.”

Early in the morning on June 13, Israel officially announced a preemptive strike against Iran aimed at destroying nuclear and military facilities.

As a result of the operation, the leadership of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), as well as leading nuclear scientists, were also neutralized.
