A light aircraft carrying two people crashed in Russia’s Moscow region.

According to the Telegram channel ASTRA, air defense forces might have mistakenly hit the aircraft.

It is believed that air defense forces mistook the plane for a Ukrainian drone and opened fire near Kolomna.

After being hit, the plane crashed near the Oka River. Both people on board were killed in the crash.

There is currently no official confirmation that air defense forces shot the plane down.
