The Security Service of Ukraine identified 8 Russians who killed and tortured residents of the village of Motyzhyn in Kyiv region.

A total of 14 facts were established: murders of civilians, shelling and burning of houses, captivity, torture and detention in basements without food and water, and theft of property.

Five of them are Russian servicemen, three more are mercenaries from the Wagner group.

Information about them was published by the Security Service of Ukraine. And their names were reported by the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Iryna Venediktova.

• Senior lieutenant Oleg Krikunov – platoon commander of the 37th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 36th Combined Arms Army;
• Sergeant Chingis Gonchikov – commander of the squad – commander of the combat vehicle of the 37th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 36th Combined Arms Army;
• Sergeant Alexander Vanchikov – commander of the squad of the 37th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 36th Combined Arms Army;
• Sergeant Magomedmirza Suleymanov – commander of the combat vehicle of the 37th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 36th Combined Arms Army;
• Senior lieutenant Vitaly Dmitriev – platoon commander of the 37th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 36th Combined Arms Army;
• Sergey Sazonov – mercenary of the “Wagner” group;
• Sergey Sazonov – mercenary of the “Wagner” group;
• Oleksandr Stupnytskyi – mercenary, scout of the 1st reconnaissance and assault platoon of the 1st reconnaissance and assault company of the “Wagner” group.

Prosecutors of Kyiv Regional and Kyiv-Sviatoshynskyi District Prosecutors together with the SSU identified their involvement in the crimes.

“Only three people survived their tortures,” said Irina Venediktov.

Among the crimes they are accused of is the murder of the Head of the village of Motyzhyn, Olga Sukhenko.

She was reported abducted along with her husband and son. The invaders have been torturing the family to obtain information about the dislocation of the Armed Forces and Territorial Defense fighters. The Russians brutally abused their son in front of a woman, and shot him in the leg. After failing to obtain the necessary information, he was shot in the head.

The village Head` husband was also tortured. The whole family died from multiple gunshot wounds.

Another woman was killed simply because she was wearing dark clothes.

“Think about the motive of another murder – one of their victims took a bullet simply for wearing black. Her father was captured and kept in a barn with his hands tied and blindfolded with almost no food or water,” – said Venediktova.

The invaders detained two volunteers who were delivering humanitarian aid to Motizhyn. They were interrogated and tortured, then taken to the forest and ordered to run, while they were opened fire at. One of the volunteers was shot in the head, the other got badly wounded. In addition, the Russian military took the cars and humanitarian aid.

The murder of two members of the NGO Patriot has also been documented. Law enforcers found that first they were tortured, and after death their bodies were shot.

Russian civilians tied the hands of another civilian, tied him to an ATV and forced him to flee for a long time. Then came interrogations, death threats and beatings. After that, the man was kept in a sewer pit for several days.

Currently, these 8 invaders were reported in absentia on suspicion under Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – violation of the laws and customs of war. Pre-trial investigation continues.
