In the Kherson region, Territorial Defense Forces finished off a modern Russian T-90M Proryv tank of invaders.

Operators of the 124th Territorial Defense Brigade conducted combat mission.

Before that, the Russian tank was already out of commission. The video shows that the T-90M’s engine has burned out.

However, soldiers of Territorial Defense Forces decided to finish off the Russian tank with a drone.

During combat operations, the tank was monitored by a reconnaissance drone.

Then a drone, which Ukrainian soldiers equipped with explosives, hits the side of the tank.

The Russian army received the first batch of these T-90M Proryv tanks only in 2020.

These tanks received a fundamentally new turret and a more powerful engine. The tanks were equipped with a new multi-channel sight that ensured the use of weapons at any time of the day.

The 124th Territorial Defense Brigade has been fighting in the Kherson region for a long time. The brigade is a part of the Operational Command South of Territorial Defense Forces.

On January 22, the Ukrainian General Staff said that in the Kherson sector, defense forces were attempting to expand their foothold on the left bank of the Dnipro River.

“Despite significant losses, the enemy continues to try to knock our units from their positions,” the General Staff said.

On January 21, Russian invaders made 6 assaults on the positions of Ukrainian troops in this area.
