The Zmiy-500 ground drone of the National Guard’s Khartiia Brigade has successfully evacuated a wounded soldier from the front line.

The robotic systems of the Khartiia Brigade are most often used for logistics and evacuation. This time, the crew managed to perform both functions in one operation.

The mission was planned in advance and had a double task: to deliver provisions, fuel and water to the front line, as well as to evacuate a wounded soldier.

Zmiy-500 set off along the designated route, carrying the necessary cargo for the infantry position located near the evacuation point.

Upon arrival at the position, the cargo was quickly unloaded to make appropriate space for the wounded soldier.

The infantryman was moderately wounded with a severe leg injury.

The main difficulties were the complicating, broken road to the evacuation site and the constant threat of enemy drones.

Nevertheless, the Zmiy-500 drone carefully overcame difficult field roads and successfully delivered the soldier to medical evacuation.

The total length of the route was 34 kilometers.

Clear coordination and timely execution of the mission saved the soldier’s life. According to doctors, even a few hours of delay could have been fatal.

According to the manufacturer, the ground drone weighs 850 kilograms and is capable of carrying up to 500 kilograms of cargo in its luggage compartment.
