The Defense Intelligence of Ukraine has released new information about foreign companies that are helping Russia manufacture UMPK kits, missiles, and ammunition.
The War&Sanctions portal published the data.
Participants of an international OSINT hackathon held to mark the portal’s first anniversary collected the information.
During their analysis, they identified Okuma (Japan) and Hision (China) machining centers on the production line of universal gliding and correction modules for aerial bombs produced by the Russian corporation Tactical Missile Armament.
It was also confirmed that the Burevestnik research institute is manufacturing stabilizers for mortar rounds using a Performa vertical machining center made by the Taiwanese company AKIRA SEIKI.
In addition, OSINT specialists discovered that after the start of the full-scale invasion, several Russian companies supplied Chinese KEDE and WMT machines to manufacturers of the Iskander and Oreshnik missiles.
They also delivered ECOM VL-12i milling machining centers from Taiwan.
Military intelligence notes that the collected data is already being used to develop new sanctions initiatives and to limit the production capabilities of the Russian defense industry.
It was previously reported that the Defense Intelligence published information about the Russian universal multi-domain gliding munition D-30SN.
Specialists established that dozens of enterprises involved in its production have long-standing ties with the Russian defense industry. Most of these companies are already under sanctions imposed by Western countries.
Meanwhile, some manufacturers and suppliers of components have not yet been added to sanctions lists, allowing them to retain access to foreign technologies, equipment, and parts.
Components for the D-30SN come, in particular, from Japan, the United States, China, Taiwan, Switzerland, and Ireland.
