The Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Parliament voted in favor of a resolution to continue military support for Ukraine to counter Russian aggression.

The adopted resolution obliges the Italian government to continue providing Ukraine with military support, as well as to support collective assistance within the framework of NATO, the EU, and at international forums, of which Italy is a member.

First of all, the help consists of supporting Ukraine with military equipment and equipment that will bring victory closer.

Our support for Ukraine remains strong and absolutely unchanged, said Guido Crosetto, Italian Minister of Defense.

According to the Minister of Defense, the support should continue until the Russian attacks against Ukraine and the civilian population stop.

In addition to military assistance, Italy is interested in the joint development of the defense industry with Ukraine by deepening cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting on November 16, 2023, Italian companies offered the Ukrainian Ministry of Transport their projects for implementation. It was also about the cooperation of Italian and Ukrainian manufacturers of military products.

The Italian side expressed interest in cooperation in the aviation industry, the production of armored vehicles, the protection of airspace, the demining of the territory of Ukraine, and the exchange of technological innovations.

In addition to the joint development of the defense industry, Italy also transferred self-propelled artillery installations to the Armed Forces of Ukraine M109L ACS as part of strengthening the artillery capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as air defense systems.

As Militarnyi reported, Sweden will transfer SEK 50 million (about $5 million) to the NATO fund to help Ukraine.

In addition, Sweden will transfer SEK 5 million to the NATO trust fund for the development of defense potential for Moldova.
