On the morning of Thursday, October 31, Russian invaders announced an attack by strike drones on the seaport in the temporarily occupied Berdiansk, Zaporizhzhia region.

In connection with the attack, the invasion authorities declared a day off in the city.

Local social media public pages report on the explosions that people have heard since 6 a.m. and the work of Russian air defense.

The Berdiansk Segodnya Telegram channel published a photo of smoke in the port area and reported ambulances leaving the port area.

In connection with the attack on the seaport, the invaders called on the residents of Berdiansk to stay at home today, refrain from travelling by car, and, if possible, stay away from windows.

Schools, kindergartens, and other public institutions in the Russian-occupied city will not work today.

The invasion administration also called on motorists heading to Berdiansk to refrain from travelling.

The Russian military has reportedly blocked many streets in the city near the port.

Russian occupation media also reported that the seaport was allegedly attacked by six drones moving from the sea. However, local residents on social media claim that there were more drones.

As of 9 a.m., the attackers reported three victims with injuries of varying severity who were taken to the hospital. It was not specified whether they were civilians or military.

Recently, rocket artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck a training ground of Russian troops in the Zaporizhzhia region.

The strike was carried out using GMLRS M30A1 DPICM precision-guided rockets, which are equipped with a large number of bomblets and effectively deal with enemy manpower.
