Finland will send instructors to Britain to train the Ukrainian troops.
The Ministry of Defense of Finland announced that about 20 service personnel will be sent.
It is noted that the training program is conducted by Great Britain, which has asked partner countries for support.
“Finland will send approximately 20 service personnel to the United Kingdom to take part in a training program for Ukrainian Armed Forces,’ the press release states.
Previously, it became known that the Swedish army will send up to 120 instructors to Great Britain to train the Ukrainian servicemen.
On June 17, during his visit to Kyiv, the British Prime Minister offered assistance to Ukraine in training approximately 10 thousand troops.
Later, Britain invited other partner countries to contribute to the training of Ukrainian servicemen.
Canada has deployed up to 225 instructors to the UK to train Armed Forces personnel.
Also, the New York Army National Guard sends its soldiers to Germany, where they will be training the Ukrainian troops.
140 American soldiers assigned to the 27th Infantry Brigade Combat Team were sent to Germany.
Prior to their deployment to Germany, the national guardsmen themselves will be trained at the Fort Bliss military base in Texas.
As previously reported, the British Government purchased Zastava M70 assault rifles for the training program, similar to those used by the Ukrainian troops on the front lines.
