The Indian Army has locked in a patent for its homegrown “Automatic Target Classifying System based on Artificial Intelligence”.

The news outlet Military AI and the Additional Directorate General of Public Information, IHQ of MoD reported on this.

The technology is compatible with various radar systems, allowing it to be integrated into different combat environments.

Colonel Kuldeep Yadav developed the system. It uses sensors and algorithms to analyze radar signals and automatically identify objects – such as aircraft, vehicles, or personnel – without human intervention.

The system enables faster response times, reduces errors, and enhances situational awareness on the battlefield.
