Ukraine’s defense forces have neutralized the command post of the S-300 anti-aircraft missile radar system of the Russian invaders.

The Command of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine demonstrated a neutralized vehicle of the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system.

Judging by the photo, this is the 5H63C command post with the 30H6 radar for illuminating the targets and guiding of missiles (RPN), which is part of the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system of various modifications.

The circumstances of the Russian radar destruction are yet unknown.

The part of the mobile command post where the guidance radar is located had suffered significant fire damage, and the hardware is almost completely burnt down.

A highly automated multifunction 30H6 radar for the illumination of targets and guidance of missiles (RPN) is desingned for the reception and development of air targets. It is capable of selecting targets for the priority fire, capturing and autotracking of targets, identification of their nationality, capturing, tracking and guiding of missiles, as well as illuminating the targets to ensure the operation of the semi-active heads of guided missiles.

The 30H6 on-load tap-changer provides simultaneous targeting of up to 12 missiles at six targets of different types.

Previously, in the Chernihiv region, the Ukrainian servicemen had destroyed the Russian 9S36 target acquisition radar (TAR) system.

The station is part of the Russian “Buk-M2” anti-aircraft missile system.

Based on the preliminary data, the Russian station was destroyed by the Ukrainian artillery. The destroyed 9S36 radar was found by the servicemen near Novyi Bykiv village in the Chernihiv region.
