In the morning of March 24, 2022, powerful explosions took place in the port of the Russian-occupied city of Berdyansk (Zaporizhzhya region).

Versions of an exploded 3,000-ton fuel tank were circulating online. However, it is most likely that the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck a group of large landing ships of the Russian Navy, which were moored in the occupied port.

The video shows that two landing ships of the Russian Navy, which in the previous days delivered marine units to the port, are trying to leave the port.

In the video, constant explosions are heard. Also in the footage you can see the spread, probably, ammunition.

The Ukrainian Navy says a large Russian landing ship the Orsk docked at the Ukrainian port of Berdyansk has been destroyed.

Instead, the Russian telegram channel Battle Sailor reports other destoyed ships. According to him, the fire at the Saratov ropucha-class landing ship, which was flooded. Kunikov and Novocherkassk escaped, which also suffered injuries and losses among the crews (11 wounded, 3 dead).
