In the Kyiv region, the military conducted training to counter sabotage and reconnaissance groups of the enemy.

The Command of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.

The military worked out the presumable landing of an airborne assault force trying to seize an important object.

“According to the legend, the enemy was trying to land a tactical airborne assault force and seize an important state facility. The Armed Forces of Ukraine’s units, in cooperation with units of the National Guard of Ukraine, neutralized the forward detachment trying to seize the corresponding bridgehead for further actions,” Serhiy Nayev, Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported.

An artillery maneuver was also conducted. To carry it out, the military overcame a water obstacle using the PTS-2 tracked amphibious transport and ferry crossings.

“There is no limit to the improvement of the practical skills and abilities of our personnel. The commanders will continue the specified training in the future to bring the actions of subordinates to an automated level,” Serhiy Nayev emphasized.

Ukrainian units are regularly conducting training exercises to prepare to repel enemy attacks, especially near the northern borders with the Russian Federation and Belarus.

Defensive lines are being strengthened, and a fence is being constructed.

As previously reported, the Situational Center for Border Control with Belarus was launched in the Volyn region. The border guards will be able to respond to any provocations of the neighboring state in a timely manner.

The Center is equipped with modern computers, special equipment, and a video system. The center will receive updates on the situation at the border with Poland and Belarus.
