In the area of the village of Yampil, Donetsk region, the Ukrainian servicemen have successfully destroyed a group of Russian special forces from Siberia.

The paratroopers published a video demonstrating the remains of armored vehicles and personnel of the 24th Special Brigade of the Main Directorate (formerly known as the Main Intelligence Directorate) of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

The footage shows at least one destroyed BTR-82A armored personnel carrier and neutralized servicemen of the aggressor country.

The invaders had personal badges of the army of the Russian Federation.

The report notes that the Ukrainian paratroopers continue to successfully fight in the Donetsk region, constantly destroying the Russian invaders and their armored vehicles.

On May 1, Ukrainian Joint Forces successfully repulsed 10 attacks from the Russian troops and inflicted heavy casualties.

It was also reported that the Ukrainian defenders destroyed 2 tanks, 17 artillery systems, 38 units of armored combat vehicles, and 10 units of enemy vehicles.

Previously, the artillery unit destroyed a column of the invader equipment in the area of responsibility of the Operational Command “East”.

The invaders were once again attempting to attack the positions of Ukrainian defenders, however, their plan was cut short by the Ukrainian servicemen.

The intelligence unit successfully adjusted the fire and as a result, four enemy tanks were destroyed. Such effective work of Ukrainian defenders is a result of a decentralized system of unit management.
