At night, the invaders fired 9M22S incendiary bombs at Ternova in the Kharkiv region.

The 9M22S incendiary projectile is designed to destroy enemy manpower and equipment by creating mass fires, as well as direct hits.

The warhead of this missile consists of 180 incendiary combat elements made of magnesium alloy ML5 and filled with pyrotechnic composition similar to termite.

The settlement of Ternova was liberated by soldiers of the 227th Battalion of the 127th Territorial Defense Brigade.

Recently, Ukrainian soldiers in the Kharkiv region pushed back the Russian military and reached one of the sections of the state border with Russia.

Also in the Kharkiv region, the Ukrainian defense forces seized a Russian tank ammunition depot.

An abandoned Russian T-72B3 tank was also found in the liberated settlement.

On May 16, the enemy opened fire at the settlements of Kharkiv and Chuhuiv districts. A total of 10 people were injured and 2 died during the day.

It is noted that in the village of Tsyrkuny (Kharkiv district) 2 people were injured and a 40-year-old man died.

2 more people were injured in Rohan village. In Pechenihy, Chuhuiv district, a shell hit a residential building – 1 local resident was injured and 1 died as a result of injuries. Also 3 people were injured in the village of Malynivka, Chuhuiv district. 2 people were injured in the village of Korobochkine.
