The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold Sievierodonetsk, street fighting in the city is ongoing.

Operators of the Special Operations Forces shared which tactics the enemy is using during the attacks on the city, and talked about their assignments.

According to the SOF operators, the enemy applies the advantage in the number of shells and strikes regardless of whether the military is located in certain places, thus inflicting significant losses to the civilian population.

“Most of them are simply applying the advantage in the number of shells, they “cover” the whole area. It does not matter whether there are our troops or these are civilians, that is, they do not disassemble,” – said one of the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As for the tactics used by the enemy, the servicemen shared that the invaders are using large amounts of artillery to destroy settlements and further move forward.

The same tactic is being used in the city.

“The main troops and artillery are catching up behind the reconnaissance. And with small, tiny steps, not even by blocks, but house by house. Gradually one by one they are moving forward. When we knock them out, they retreat and use the same tactics,” said the military.

Speaking of their tasks in Sievierodonetsk, the servicemen noted that they were working on reconnaissance and artillery fire adjustment.

This morning, Serhiy Haidai, Head of Luhansk RMA stated that street fighting is ongoing in Sievierodonetsk, and the enemy is pushing from the side of Popasna.

The General Staff noted that the Defense Forces of Ukraine are effectively reflecting the attempts to assault Ukrainian positions in the vicinity of Sievierodonetsk.
