The pro-Iranian group Hezbollah used an FPV drone to hit an Israeli Merkava tank.

The group shared a video of the attack on social media.

The footage shows the drone slowly approaching the tank and striking its rear. This area is considered the most vulnerable part of the Israeli vehicle due to its thin armor and the location of its main ammunition supply there.

According to Hezbollah, the incident took place near the village of Merkaba in southern Lebanon.

The Israeli military leadership ordered the army to immediately destroy all bridges over the Litani River and to accelerate the demolition of houses in border villages in southern Lebanon.

Israel’s Defense Minister Israel Katz explained that the decision was aimed at blocking Hezbollah’s logistics and preventing the movement of reinforcements and weapons.

The Israel Defense Forces have already carried out a series of airstrikes on the key Al-Qasmiya bridge, which connects the south of the country with its central region. According to Lebanese state media, the structure sustained significant damage and has become unusable.
