Metal Shark (MS) and HavocAI have announced a partnership to integrate Havoc’s autonomous control platform into the HSMUSV fleet of unmanned vessels.

Havoc technology is already in use by the Navy, US Army, and allies, enabling a single operator to control swarms of boats in challenging combat environments, according to Metal Shark.

MS has many years of experience in supplying combat boats to the US Navy, Coast Guard and Marine Corps.

The company is producing the new generation of 40 Defiant boats and 85′ Near Coastal patrol vessels, strengthening its position as a key supplier of welded aluminum vessels to the US military.

The Havoc platform is hull-independent and can be scaled to different fleet platforms.

“We chose Havoc because of their real-world, impressive results. Metal Shark has already delivered more than 400 autonomous or remotely operated vessels, and the speed of development of the Havoc platform is impressive,” said Chris Allard, CEO of Metal Shark.

In 2025, HavocAI has also entered into partnerships with Lockheed Martin, PacMar Technologies, and Tocaro Blue, and its solutions are already deployed in dozens of official US Department of War missions.
