On June 10, the Ukrainian military conducted a series of successful strikes against Russian S-400 and S-300 air defense systems in occupied Crimea.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on this.

“Last night, the Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully struck one S-400 air defense system division of the invaders near Dzhankoy, as well as two enemy S-300 air defense system divisions near Chornomorske and Yevpatoria,” the General Staff said.

The General Staff noted that none of the missiles fired had been intercepted by enemy air defense systems. In these areas, after the strikes, radars of the S-300/S-400 immediately stopped working, which may indicate that they were hit.

Also, according to the military, detonation of ammunition was observed in all three areas of the starting positions of air defense system divisions.

This information is confirmed by the Russian publication Astra, which, citing its own sources, reported that two Russian S-300 systems and four radars had been damaged as a result of a nighttime missile attack on Crimea.

According to their information, the Ukrainian Defense Forces launched at least 10 ATACMS missiles to carry out the strikes. None of them were shot down.

Four missiles hit the location of the 31st Air Defense Division in the Dzhankoy district, where two radar stations were damaged and one serviceman was wounded.

Four more rockets hit the position of this division in the Saky district. Military equipment was damaged there, the number and extent of the damage is being established, and another soldier was wounded.

Two more missiles hit the position of the 31st Air Defense Division in the Chornomorsk region, a few kilometers from the village of Gromove. “Two more radars and two S-300 systems were damaged, one soldier was killed and four wounded,” ASTRA sources said.

The villages of Hromove, mentioned by the sources, and Chornomorske, mentioned by the General Staff, are located on Cape Tarkhankut, but the distance between them is about 18 kilometers. Accordingly, it can be said about the defeat of two different divisions.

To date, there are no publicly available photos or videos of live recordings of the damaged Russian air defense systems from their locations.
