The Russian resistance carried out two arson attacks against the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Russian Federation (FPS) responsible for torturing Ukrainian prisoners of war.
Representatives of the Freedom of Russia resistance movement claimed responsibility for successful sabotage operations in the Kaluga region and Novokuznetsk, causing significant material damage to Russian security forces.
In the city of Obninsk in the Kaluga region, partisans burned a service vehicle belonging to employees of the local detention center. According to activists, the vehicle was completely burned out and cannot be repaired.
A more large-scale attack took place in Novokuznetsk, where the resistance movement destroyed two power transformers. As a result of the sabotage, the building of the Federal Penitentiary Service was left completely without power.

The organizers of the attacks stated that any structure that carries out the Kremlin’s criminal orders and tortures prisoners is a legitimate target.
We remind you that OSINT analysts identified 33 employees of a Russian colony in Mordovia, where Ukrainian prisoners are systematically tortured. According to human rights activists, as of April 2025, about 700 Ukrainian servicemen were being held in Colony No. 10, which has a capacity of 850.
The cruelty of the staff at this facility was reported as early as 2012–2014. However, after the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the colony turned into a veritable conveyor belt of torture.
