The external pilots of the 14th Regiment of the Unmanned Systems Forces carried out a series of strikes on the enemy’s energy infrastructure.

The regiment published a video of the operation’s results on its social media.

According to the unit, the attacks were carried out using domestic FP-1 kamikaze drones, which, it is likely, now have the capability to transmit images from onboard optical systems – a feature that had not been officially reported before.

It is possible that the Unmanned Systems Forces report refers to the FP-2 drones, designed for targeting operational depth objectives.

As a result of the strikes, the following substations were hit: Kysneva-2, Peremoha, Novodonbaska, Komunarska, Lypetska, and Cherkaska, which were responsible for supplying electricity to the occupied areas of the Luhansk region.

After the attacks, a significant part of the occupied Luhansk region was left without electricity.

This was a direct response to the recent Russian strikes on the energy infrastructure of Ukrainian-controlled areas in the Donetsk region.

It is worth noting that several media outlets, including ASTRA, reported on the blackout in the region.

The so-called ‘head of the Luhansk People’s Republic,’ Leonid Pasichnyk, confirmed the massive drone attack on the region’s energy infrastructure.
