On the night of October 4, a drone attacked an oil depot in the Voronezh oblast of Russia.
A fire broke out as a result of the explosion, the Astra Telegram channel and eyewitnesses reported on social media.
Subsequently, the governor of the region, Alexandr Gusev, also confirmed the attack and the damage.
Eyewitnesses claim that the fire occurred late at night at the Annanafteprodukt oil depot located in the town of Anna.
In turn, Gusev said that in the Anninsky district of the Voronezh oblast, Russian electronic warfare (EW) equipment had allegedly suppressed UAVs, one of which had fallen on the territory of an oil depot.
In his Telegram post, he stated that an empty tank, damaged by debris from a downed drone, had caught fire.
Firefighters are working at the scene. According to preliminary reports, there are no injuries, Gusev said.
It is worth noting that a few hours before the reports of the fire at the oil depot in the Voronezh oblast, the region was warned of a drone attack.
On the night of Saturday, August 24, an ammunition depot exploded in the Voronezh oblast after strikes.
A state of emergency had been introduced in three settlements in the Ostrogozhsky district to eliminate the consequences of the fire and the detonation of explosive objects.
The detonation of explosive devices is taking place at a location near the village of Nova Melnytsia.
According to the governor, the region was attacked by at least five attack drones, which were allegedly shot down.
