Funds for 25 Shark unmanned systems have been collected under the “EYE FOR AN EYE” project, The Come Back Alive Foundation announces.

UAH 325 million were raised for the purchase of domestically produced UAVs.

The fundraising lasted about five months.

The charitable initiative of the OKKO filling station network and the Come Back Alive Foundation launched on November 1. For every liter of Pulls branded fuel sold at the OKKO gas station, the company has been transferring 1 UAH to purchase SHARK UAVs. Moreover, concerned citizens could transfer the funds directly to the Come Back Alive Foundation special account.

Under this initiative, the organizers will hand over 25 systems to the Ukrainian military, including:

• 75 UAVs from Ukrspecsystems (50 main UAVs and 25 for the operational reserve to replace the lost ones);
• 25 Torsus vehicles by Pulsar Expo, specifically equipped with control posts;
• 25 launchers.

The first Shark reconnaissance system has already been received by soldiers of one of the artillery brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Before the military personnel can start working with new equipment, they have to undergo appropriate training. 25 crews have been trained in the UAV operation during the fundraising. It is stated that the drones have the ability to operate in the air for up to 4 hours and are resistant to EW devices. The camera can provide adaptive tracking of the target even at a target speed of 100 km/h.

The total value of the project is 325 million hryvnias. The price of one system is 13 million hryvnias. However, the total cost of the project includes 25 additional UAVs, which will be in reserve for prompt replacement of the lost ones. The systems purchased with the help of Ukrainians will be distributed by the Come Back Alive Foundation, taking into account the current situation at the front and the recommendations of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Shark unmanned aerial system is a development of the Ukrspecsystems. The UAV is equipped with a highly reliable communication module and a modern camera system that allows it to go deep into the enemy’s rear (up to 60 km) and conduct surveillance at a distance of up to 5 km between the UAV and the object.
