There is new information about explosions in occupied Crimea.
Eyewitnesses say that the forest near Simeiz started burning after explosions. They write about it on local Telegram channels.
It is also assumed that the air defense operated.
There were no statements from the occupation authorities regarding the incident.
“The explosion was over Simeiz, the air defence probably went off! The forest above Simeiz is now burning, 112 has already been called,” the report said.
The released video featuring smoke rising above the forest.
Simeiz is an urban-type village near Yalta. It’s located on the southern slopes of the Crimean Mountains.
As previously reported, the work of the enemy air defense was recorded over the village of Novoozerne, near Yevpatoria.
On August 23, the occupation authorities of Crimea reported the downing of a drone near Sevastopol. Local Telegram channels posted videos of eyewitnesses talking about the explosions.
On August 21, the so-called governor of Sevastopol reported that an unidentified aircraft was hit on the approaches to the Belbek airport from the side of Evpatoria.
On August 20, an explosion occurred in Sevastopol in the temporarily occupied Crimea near the HQ of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation.
In addition, throughout the evening and night of August 20, 2022, the air defense system of the invaders worked along the coast of the Crimean peninsula.
On August 22, the Russian occupation authorities of the city of Sevastopol began inspecting the conditions of shelters after a series of explosions.
