The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine made a comment on the explosions at the oil depot in Belgorod, russia.

Militarnyi informs about it with reference to Oleksandr Motuzyanyk, Spokesman of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

He noted that Ukraine is currently conducting a defense operation against the russian armed aggression on the territory of Ukraine, and is not responsible for whatever is happening in russia.

“Ukraine is currently conducting a defensive operation against russian aggression on the territory of Ukraine, but this does not mean that Ukraine is responsible for every catastrophe on the russia’s territory. This is not the first time we have seen such accusations, so I will neither confirm nor deny such accusations,” said Oleksandr Motuzyanyk, the Ukrainian Defence Ministry spokesperson.

As reported earlier, in the russian city of Belgorod, which is located near the border with Ukraine, explosions and a major fire occurred at the oil depot.

Videos featuring two Mi-24 attack helicopters, launching a missile strike at the oil depot, are now circulating the social media.

On March 29, an ammunition depot exploded in the Belgorod region of russia.

The incident took place near the village of Krasny Oktyabr.
