On the night of July 9 to 10, explosions occurred in occupied Alchevsk. The fire continues in the city.
This is reported by the local community pages on social media.
An ammunition depot is probably on fire. The Alchevsk UA Twitter account reports that the explosions are happening on the territory of the former brewery:
“Hits at the abandoned brewery (which is very suitable for storing ammunition). Humanitarian kefir and “fillet” sausages are detonating.
The city of Alchevsk, Luhansk region, has been occupied since 2014.
On the morning of July 10, new explosions were also recorded in Shakhtarsk, Donetsk region.
A large-scale fire and the detonation of explosive devices were recorded there.
Judging from the explosions, ammunition is detonating on the scene.
As previously reported, the Russian ammunition depot exploded in occupied Khartsyzk, Donetsk Region.
Analysts draw attention to the fact that the Ukrainian servicemen are attacking ammunition depots on the territory occupied by the enemy, which might affect the logistics and support of the enemy’s troops. The Russians are highly dependent on the accumulation of ammunition close to the front line.
