An explosion took place in occupied Kherson, one person was injured.

Hennadii Lahuta, the Head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, also confirmed this information to Suspilne.

Initially, it was reported that the incident took place near the occupation “administration”. The assumption was due to knocked out doors and broken windows. Later, this information was disproved.

According to a clarification, the explosion took place near the “Nostalgia” cafe, behind the Drama Theater.

One person was injured – a cafe employee.

The information about the explosion was confirmed by the National Police of Ukraine.

“The Kherson Region Police opened a criminal case on hooliganism. We know that a waitress was injured. The rest of the victims and the circumstances of the incident are being investigated,” National Police spokeswoman Tatiana Skuba told Suspilne.

The media of the invaders report that the explosion could have occurred because of a pre-planted explosive device. There are no other details.
